A reproduction of a C19th wet linen basket of Yorkshire provenance, demonstrating the interweaving of U.K. and European techniques and the wonderful tapestry of our cultural heritage. Woven using the traditional stripped white willow and showcasing a plaited border, willow handles and oak skids, it is made to last.

Funded by an award from The York Foundation of Conservation and Crafts, finalist in The Basketmakers Association Basketry of the Year competition, exhibited in Yorkshire and winner of the Blue Patch Heritage Award.
